Background
TOTAL TENNIS has been conducting lessons since 1980, when the team was started by the current head coach, Victor Eke. Over the years the TOTAL TENNIS team has grown in size and earned a reputation for high performance coaching tailored for all levels of ability, including elite players. Every age, gender, size, shape and aspiration is catered for by TOTAL TENNIS.
The ultimate goal of the coaching team is to instil a love and understanding of the "game" of tennis so that pupils look at it as a lifetime activity.
About Victor Eke
Victor has been inducted into the Tennis Coaches “Hall of Fame” and was a past Victorian Tennis Coach of the year.
He played on the professional tour for 5 years. Achieving a world ranking of 209 in singles and 85 in doubles.
Victor began his coaching career in Geneva, Switzerland. Whilst there he coached a ten year old Marc Rosset who went on to be the number 7 ranked player in the world.
In 1983, with friend Paul McNamee, Victor started up VicTennis (now the Kids Tennis Foundation) that introduces the game of tennis to children who otherwise would not have the opportunity. There are now some 4000 children a week enjoying this program. Victor is the immediate past President and still on the Board as the Director of Coaching.
Victor has mentored over 25 coaches to achieve their “Club Professional” accreditation, (many more to the “Junior Development” stage). Then assisted those coaches to create their own coaching schools and business’.

Coaching Syllabus
The coaching syllabus of TOTAL TENNIS is based upon the principle of "Game Sense" developed by Rod Thorpe. Victor says, "By learning to play the game, pupils are then motivated to learn how to develop individual skills, so that they can then play the game better."
One 8 year old pupil has gone on to play Federation Cup for Australia (Christine Wheeler), many others have achieved Australian and State Junior and Senior rankings.
Youngest pupil: 3 years old.
Oldest pupil: 82 years young.
